Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Shinobi Trading Journal ("the Service"). By creating an account, you agree to them.

Shinobi Trading Journal is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice, and nothing in the Service should be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. Trading involves risk of loss - you are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

The Service

Shinobi Trading Journal lets you log, review, and analyze your own trades. We currently offer a free tier of the Service, and may introduce paid plans with additional features in the future - if we do, any new pricing will be presented clearly before you're charged anything. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Your Account

You must provide accurate information when you sign up.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to impersonate someone else.
Attempt to access another user's account or data.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.
Upload content you don't have the right to share.

Your Content

You own the trade data, notes, and screenshots you upload. We store it so we can display it back to you and don't claim any ownership over it. See our Privacy Policy for how it's handled.

Support / Donations

If you choose to support development via the "Support the Developer" link, that's a voluntary donation processed entirely by Ko-fi, separate from any paid subscription plans we may offer in the future - it doesn't unlock features or create a separate contract with us.

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost - though we take reasonable steps to protect it. Keep your own backups of anything important (the Service includes a CSV export for this reason).

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any trading losses, decisions, or outcomes related to your own trading activity.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
